The Flow Lab Data Server is for temporary storage and transfer of data files generated in the Flow Lab. You are the owner of your data and are responsible for managing your data in accordance with data storage and retention policies put forth by the granting agency funding your research.
Accessing the Flow Lab Data Server
Once you have completed the Introduction to Flow Cytometry class, you will receive an email from help@medicine.wisc.edu with your login credentials and a temporary password along with instructions for changing your password. Users can contact help@medicine.wisc.edu directly with login credential and password issues.
To change your temporary password go to https://www.medicine.wisc.edu/password.

Your Data & Account
The Flow Lab Data Server is for temporary storage and transfer of data files generated in the Flow Lab.
Drag & Drop Data
We are now using FILR, a secure file sharing platform that will allow you to access your data via the web. The FILR program can be downloaded to your computer for drag & drop file transferring capabilities.
Data Older Than 1 Year
Data older than 1 year will be moved to an archive server space. Please contact the Flow Lab if you need access to this data.
PHI
Any data containing PHI is strictly prohibited from this data server.
Computer Access
If you are using a Department of Medicine IT administered computer, you should see the FLOWLAB server on your desktop when logging in using your DOM IT credentials. If you need access to your data from another computer, or from off campus, use the FILR instructions above with your DOM IT credentials.
Inactive Accounts
User accounts inactive for 14 months will be deactivated. Please contact the Flow Lab if you require reactivation of your account.
