Often we do this without any training in how to effectively do so. In addition, sometimes we observe inequitable situations occurring between students, between instructors and students, and between colleagues, and don\u2019t say anything for fear of not saying the \u201cright\u201d thing, or of making the situation worse. During these sessions, attendees will engage in hands-on and experiential activities including: individual reflection of clinical educational setting and identity; small group improvisation and discussions mapping identity salience and issues of privilege and marginalization and their impacts on learning; reflection and group discussion of inclusive teaching strategies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE: There are 2 sessions in this series<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-174\" src=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.cancer.wisc.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/hr-big-bottom.png\" alt=\"Red Mini Bar Dash\" width=\"34\" height=\"24\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4>Session 1: March 6, 2019<\/h4>\n<p>noon-2:00 pm<\/p>\n<p>Provides an opportunity to explore identity and consider the impact on the clinical and classroom learning environment.
