This year&#8217;s conference will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio and will be a joint conference between GLIIFCA and ORVCA, the Ohio River Valley Cytometry Association. \u00a0The staff of the UWCCC Flow Lab attends this conference annually to keep up with the cutting edge instrumentation and techniques that you have come to expect from us. \u00a0We&#8217;ll come back with new and exciting approaches for panel design &amp; optimization, reproducibility and rigor, and data analysis strategies to improve our support of your research. \u00a0Flow Lab operations will be minimally affected: Thursday, September 27, 2018 will have limited staff availability, and Friday, September 28, 2018 will be open as usual, but unstaffed. \u00a0Benchtop instruments will undergo start up and QC by staff as usual. \u00a0Staff will be leaving late morning to catch their flight to GLIIFCA.<\/p>\n<p>Next year&#8217;s GLIIFCA will be held September 27-29, 2019, outside Detroit at the Troy Marriott. \u00a0In 2020 (September 18-20), GLIIFCA comes the Marriott in Middleton!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GLIIFCA stands for Great Lakes International Imaging &amp; Flow Cytometry Association.
