So, as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/mmwr\/volumes\/66\/wr\/mm6636a7.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">childhood cancer awareness month<\/a>\u00a0comes to a close on this almost final day of September, we wanted to take a moment to help explain\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uwhealthkids.org\/news-and-events\/american-family-childrens-hospital-first-in-wisconsin-to-offer-newly-approved-leukemia-therapy-\/51279\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a groundbreaking new FDA treatment<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 CAR-T cells \u2013 that offers hope to children with\u00a0a form of relapsed pediatric leukemia called acute lymphoblastic leukemia, or ALL.<\/p>\n<p>What are CAR-T cells and why do they hold so much promise?
