Read about this year&#8217;s class of interns, and stop by the K3\/6 open area to say hi!<\/p>\n<h3>Sabrina Kabakov<\/h3>\n<p>Working Group: GI<br \/>\nIn the future I hope to become an occupational therapist. I hope to learn more about the administration of clinical trials and how successful they can be.<br \/>\nFun fact: I enjoy doing CrossFit.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-174\" src=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.cancer.wisc.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/hr-big-bottom.png\" alt=\"Red Mini Bar Dash\" width=\"34\" height=\"24\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Tiffany Lam<\/h3>\n<p>Working Group: Fiscal<br \/>\nI hope to pursue the medical field and be able to find my own way to help lots of people.<br \/>\nAt my time at the cancer center, I would like to learn how to manage different responsibilities and work more efficiently in a fast-paced environment.<br \/>\nFun fact: I used to pole vault!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-174\" src=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.cancer.wisc.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/hr-big-bottom.png\" alt=\"Red Mini Bar Dash\" width=\"34\" height=\"24\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Christopher Waring<\/h3>\n<p>Working Group: Heme\/Oma<br \/>\nOnce I graduate I&#8217;m hoping to work in with clinical trials in some capacity and then potentially apply to Medical school. I love working with kids so I&#8217;m hoping to work more with children and long-term illness. I&#8217;m really looking forward to learning about some of the newest medicines and how they adapt and change as they develop!<br \/>\nFun Fact: I grew up literally next door to Lambeau Field<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-174\" src=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.cancer.wisc.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/hr-big-bottom.png\" alt=\"Red Mini Bar Dash\" width=\"34\" height=\"24\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Caroline Roble<\/h3>\n<p>Working Group: Heme\/Oma<br \/>\nI\u2019m currently a senior at UW-Madison studying Neurobiology and Psychology hoping to become a physical therapist in the future. I\u2019m excited to work as an intern in the UW Carbone Cancer Center and learn about the types of clinical research happening within each department.<br \/>\nFun fact: I studied abroad for a semester in England!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-174\" src=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.cancer.wisc.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/hr-big-bottom.png\" alt=\"Red Mini Bar Dash\" width=\"34\" height=\"24\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The interns have been given preliminary assignments but we\u2019re always looking for new ways to challenge them.
