UW Carbone @ Saturday Science

Saturday, August 4 is Carbone Cancer Center day at Saturday Science! Learn about researching, preventing and treating cancer. Explore research, learn about sun safety and receive a complimentary sample of sunscreen, taste healthy foods and discover how to prepare healthy recipes, investigate how the immune system fights cancer, walk through giant inflatable organs on display and more.

Saturday Science at Discovery is a monthly series that features interactive exploration stations centered around a particular topic. Families and learners of all ages are invited to explore hands-on science fun during this free drop-in event, which generally is held from 10 a.m. until noon on the first Saturday of each month in the Town Center of the Discovery Building.
