Let us help you to connect your research to communities across Wisconsin
What is community outreach and engagement?
Community outreach and engagement is the active involvement of citizens in decision-making, advocacy, projects and research. Communities that are engaged with institutions have a front row seat to collaborating and assessing goals.
Why is it important?
Including our communities in the research process allows us to ensure our research is focused on and tailored to the needs of the people across Wisconsin. Involving communities makes our research better; improving the quality, validity and rigor while ensuring cultural competency.
